The Black Magic bullet by Doc Johnson is a gorgeous, elegant black remote bullet that is nothing but sexy! Both the bullet and remote are made of Doc Johnson’s “Velvet Touch” material, a phthalate-free plastic that is indeed velvety to the touch and feels oh so amazing against the skin. The bullet itself is moderately sized at just a little over 2 1/2″ long and 1″ in diameter; the controller is about 5″ long, and a little thinner than the bullet. The plastic coated wire connecting the bullet to the cylinder remote (which muchly resembles a microphone) is a generous 2 1/2 feet long, providing ample length to use from almost any position. There are small plastic collars where the wire connects to both the bullet and the remote. These help insure that it’s water-resistance. The bottom of the remote, beneath the silver Doc Johnson label, screws off for insertion of the required 2 AAA batteries. There is a small O-ring inside the cap which should keep all water/lube/moisture out of the battery compartment.

The controls are straightforward and simple. To activate, press the UP arrow button. This will turn it on at the softest setting. There are four levels of vibrations; they start off rumbly and low, and then become stronger and buzzier as you progress. Even on the lowest setting though, it packs a good deal of power! You can change the intensity of vibration by either pressing the UP arrow to increase, or the DOWN arrow to decrease. This toy boasts of no particular patterns beyond the 4  levels of steady vibrations.

To clean, simply wash with warm water and antibacterial soap. You can also wipe it down with a toy cleaner, or some isopropyl alcohol to disinfect it. When storing, remove the batteries to preserve the battery life. I’ve used it quite frequently and the vibrations are as intense as ever, and the batteries show no sign of dying anytime soon. And I must admit, I’m guilty of not removing the batteries when storing. That said, this toy doesn’t appear to be a battery guzzler.

I must say, I was really impressed with this bullet right from the get go! It doesn’t feel cheap and plastic-y in hand, it’s gorgeous, the material feels incredible, it’s powerful and not overly loud. And best of all, it provides great orgasms! I prefer steady vibrations over patterns, so the patterns were not something I missed.

Overall, I absolutely love this bullet! Honestly, if you are looking for a simple bullet that is affordable, sleek & sexy, easy to use and powerful all wrapped up in one package, then this bullet is definitely for you!

Review: Climax Bursts Toy Cleaner

I’ve always been one to wash my sex toys with good ole fashion soap and water.  But alas, times are a’ changing and I decided that it was time for something designed especially for toys. Something antibacterial. With so many options and much contemplating, I finally decided to go with Climax Bursts Toy Cleaner by Topco Sales.

Let me tell you – I love this stuff!

This is a water-based cleaner with tiny green and yellow bursting beads which are Vitamin E enriched, which is great for skin protection and extra moisturizing. These beads burst on contact. The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was how amazing it smells. It is really easy to pop the dome shaped top and dispense just a dollop of cleaner onto the toy – And that is literally all that is needed! At this rate, the 4oz bottle should last me quite a long time. I love the attractive bottle, the matches the green beads which can be seen through the transparent bottle.  It’s a slender bottle and can be easily held with one hand. The gel-like cleaner stays right where I apply it with no running or dripping and making a tedious mess like sprays do. I simply rub the cleaner all over the surface of the toy and let it sit for about 30 seconds, then I rinse really well making sure not leave any suds or beads behind. It clearly states on the bottle that it is for external use only. It doesn’t leave any streaks or residue like some wipes or sprays tend to do either. The only thing it does leave behind is a fresh clean scent. Best of all, my sensitive vag and I haven’t experienced any irritation, itching, or burning since using this cleaner.

The active ingredient is Triclosan (0.30%), which is an antimicrobial agent. The inactive ingredients include water, Acrylates copolymer, Ascrobyl palmitate, Cellulose, Chromium hydroxide green, Cocamidopropyl Bectaine, Coco-glucoside, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance, Glyceryl oleate, Hydroxpropyl methylcellulose, Iron oxides, Mannitol, and Methylchloroi. Most of which I can not pronounce, let alone tell you what they do.

Though, I can tell you that this is an awesome toy cleaner! I love the bursting beads – It’s almost like an exfoliation for your sex toys!

Review: Luv Touch Flexa Pleaser

Flexa PleaserI’m a bullet girl. There’s no doubt about it – I love my bullets! I also believe that every woman should have at least one bullet in their toy box. Bullets are quite a versatile toy that vary in many different shapes, sizes and styles – I tend to collect’em all! It’s like a Pokemon thing. That’s why when I seen the unique design of the Luv Touch Flexa Pleaser Waterproof Massager from Pipedream Products, I just couldn’t resist!

The Flexa Pleaser is a waterproof bullet massager, with 10 functions of pulsations and vibrations, attached to its handle/battery compartment by a flexible stem. The bullet itself is about 2 inches long with a girth of about 3 1/4 inches. The stem is 2 inches long and the handle is about 5 1/2 inches long – giving a total length of  about 11 inches. The stem  is very flexible – too flexible actually. I found the more I bent the stem the more flexible it became over time.  With not much pressure added the stem bends so I can’t get the direct pressure I require. It’s more like a surface vibration than a deep vibration.

The vibe is made of plastic, coated with a nice smooth velvety finish and with a little dab of lube it feels fabulous against the clit!

The single touch power button which is located at the end of the handle is super easy to control. The handle also houses 2-AA batteries (insert/remove them by twisting of the cap at the end). Just push the button once to turn it on and continue pushing to cycle through all the different variations of vibrations and pulsations, and then again to turn it off again. Having to cycle through all the settings can be a bit of a drawback for some, especially if you need a quick turn-off. No biggie.
Vibration patterns:
  • slow continuous vibration.
  • medium continuous vibration.
  • fast continuous vibratons.
  • short deep pulses.
  • 4 short pulses followed by a medium pulse.
  • rollercoaster continuous vibration.
  • rollercoaster pulse.
  • 6 long pulses, 6 medium pulses, and then lots of short pulses.
  • 10 short pulses then 1 very long pulse.
  • Teaser : many short pulses then 1 very long pulse.

Clean it with warm water and soap or a toy cleaner, wipe dry and store it. Storing is just as easy, with no special storage precautions you can store this just about anywhere while you don’t have to worry about it reacting with other materials in your toy box.
The Flexa Pleaser is an alright toy. I like it.  It’s ideal for anyone new to sex toys and who is going for discreetness, and variety while  looking to not spend much on a sex toy. It has plenty of vibrational options to experiment with,  it’s modestly sized, smooth, and far from intimidating. It’s more a soothing vibration and doesn’t have much oomph for you vibe veterans or Power Queens out there, but  it does certainly have enough to get the job done. What I like most about the Flexa Pleaser is that if accidentally spotted, it could pass as “just a massager”. It doesn’t scream “sex toy” in any way and I have no problem leaving it out where it can be seen.
