I am excited to tell you that I recently received my first package from PinkCherry.com! Within that box was Janine’s Hidden Pleasure Vibrator & Treasure Chest. The vibe itself is very petite and sleek measuring 5″ in length, in which 4″ are insert-able. It has a girth of 3 1/2″ and is 1″ wide with a slight tapered rounded point. It is very girly and pretty. If you look closely there are silver swirly designs all over the pearly pink shaft. They are within the plastic and cannot be felt on the surface. The silver textured detailing around the base gives it an added bling-bling look. The treasure chest case matches the vibe (pink, silver swirls, and bling-bling). It is lined with black satin, and the vibe looks adorable while sitting in its case.
The toy is powered by a single AA battery which can easily be inserted into the base by untwisting the cap which is sealed by a rubber o-ring (yes – it’s waterproof!). It has three steady vibration speeds: low, medium, and high. There are no patterns. Turn the toy on via a small push button located at the bottom of the toy which is very easy it press during use. You must cycle through all three settings to turn the toy off again – this I don’t mind. The one thing I did mind is that when pressing the button, the speed doesn’t automatically go up to the next level. Instead, it pauses and stops vibrating while the button is depressed and it resumes when you let go.
The buzz is not too loud, but not too quiet – meaning you could probably hide the noise from behind a closed door, but I don’t think you are fooling anyone if they are in the same room.
You may be wondering – can it be powerful enough to reach a phenomenal orgasm? Well…sort of! It is not an earth shaker, but it does help get you to where you need to be. It’s no powerhouse but should be sufficient for most. There is not too much excitement on the level of insertion, because there isn’t too much length and there are no ridges or texture, but I must say it makes an excellent clit-vibe. Add a little bit of lube and it glides nicely and effortlessly over the clit and labia. Clean-up is a breeze and can be done with hot soapy water or your favourite toy cleaner.
